We’re excited to begin a 6 week study of James Cone’s book The Cross and the Lynching Tree — every Wednesday at 7pm, starting July 8th through August 12th. If you have never studied Cone before you are in for rich Black liberation theology that is transformative in our understanding of the Bible and our faith. We will explore a chapter a week, and it will be helpful if you read the chapter ahead of time.
Please note: This event has been Postponed and will not occur on March 29th. Join Team Bethany to participate and/or fund raise for the San Francisco Interfaith Winter Shelter. Walk begins and ends at the parking circle at Lake Merced (intersection of Sunset Blvd. and Lake Merced Blvd.).
