Sanctuary

The Sanctuary is our main gathering space and can be used for a variety of functions such as concerts, meetings, dancing, trainings etc. Maximum seating capacity is 200 people with auditorium style seating.

Rental of the Sanctuary includes use of tables and chairs, and our commercial grade kitchen can be rented for an additional fee.

Non-profit and community groups are given special rates.

Multipurpose Room

Our multipurpose room is perfect for smaller group meetings or trainings, with adjustable options for table and chair setup. Comfortable for up to 25-30.

Concerts & Musical Productions

Bethany loves to host concerts for all kinds of musicians. Our Steinway Piano is tuned at regular intervals and groups have access to our sound system. For concert inquires contact our music director Ray Capiral at bethanysfmusic@gmail.com.

Overnight Groups

We have a room dedicated to hosting overnight youth groups, and alternative winter and spring break college groups. If your group is traveling to the city for service work and looking for a place to stay, we have a private room, two showers and access to our kitchen. Please inquire for our availability.

Weddings

Thank you for considering Bethany United Methodist Church for your wedding. All couples are welcome to celebrate their wedding at Bethany UMC. With our recently renovated facility, original stained glass, and gorgeous hardwood floors and ceilings our Sanctuary offers a memorable and beautiful location for your San Francisco wedding.

We invite you to come visit us and see our sanctuary and facilities in person. We would be happy to give you a tour and arrange for you to speak with our pastor to answer any questions you have about your ceremony.

THE MINISTER

Our Pastor typically officiates weddings performed at Bethany. After making a reservation each couple will schedule a time to meet with the pastor. This meeting will provide you with an opportunity to become acquainted with the officiating pastor and to plan for your ceremony. Pastor Sadie will work with you to create a ceremony that is specifically designed to meet your needs.

FEE

The fee for a wedding ceremony is $1500
The wedding fee provides: Use of the facilities for 3 hours the day of the ceremony and a one-hour rehearsal prior to the wedding day.

You will be asked to make a non-refundable deposit of $500 to hold the reservation. The balance of the fee is payable and due at your wedding rehearsal. When your wedding date and time have been confirmed, we will consult with you on all other details for your ceremony.
