We’re excited to begin our 6 week study of James Cone’s book The Cross and the Lynching Tree starting Wednesday July 8th at 7pm. If you have never studied Cone before you are in for rich Black liberation theology that is transformative in our understanding of the Bible and our faith.  We will explore a chapter a week, and it will be helpful if you read the chapter ahead of time.
